!!Best of 2013!!

Hello my lovelies,
you can all take a massive sigh of relief because its finally here... BEST OF 2013!!
woohoo, I finally fixed my laptop enough to start writing this blog post, yaay!
lets get on with it!

My first favourite is 'Rimmel London match perfection foundation' in '200 soft beige' or '230 warm ivory' depending on how my skin looks that day,
I love this foundation, it's a medium coverage and it leaves the skin looking radiantly flawless.
I really think Rimmel do the best foundations and it is obvious why when you apply them. They glide on easily and don't slip off during the day!

My next favourite is my 'stay matte' powder also by 'Rimmel London' I promise I'm not sponsored by them I just genuinely love their products! This powder is beautiful on and doesn't make you look absolutely caked in make up. It really does mattify the face and you can reapply as many times as you need.

Another power I've been loving in 2013  is the 'kick ass retouch powder' by 'soap and glory' whilst I don't love it as much as my 'stay matte' I still chop and change between the two. I believe this looks slightly cakeier on however I still like it and it definitely keeps your makeup in place most of the day.

As for concealers, I've been loving 'collections lasting perfection concealer' this is truely the best concealer I've ever used at such an inexpensive price! It's blendable and lovely I have it in the lightest shade for underneath my eyes but I also buy a darker one to cover redness and blemishes! The only fault I've found is the packaging it rubs away easily but the product itself is amazing.

Another concealer I loved last year is my 'benefit erase paste' this is really great for covering those under eye circles however sometimes there is a little bit of an issue with creasing!  More about it here!

Now moving more onto skincare I have to say I've absolutely LOVED my 'garnier skin naturals pure active intensive spot purifying toner' this has cleared my face up a treat! More about it here

Another skincare favourite of mine has been my 'Estée lauder daywear moisturiser' woah there... You'll be utterly stunned by this... It's like a little hug for you face.
It had lots of good anti-oxidents in it, I'm not quite sure which ones but I'm pretty sure cucumber and aloe vera are in there somewhere because thats what it smells like but don't quote me on that one... (clearly this girl knows her stuff ;)... )
This makes the face appear less puffy and is totally moisturising and you just need one in your life.

For bronzers last year I'm going to go for 'Lancome's Mineral smoothing bronzing powder true lively glow- exquisite wear spf 10' I don't use bronzer often but when I do it's this one and only this one,  it gives a really natural glow and doesn't look muddy at all - I LOVE IT!! (icona pop style)...

For Blushes this year I'm going to say 'benefits rockatuer' love this its such a beautiful blush, i go into more detail about it here!

For lipstick last year I've was and still am  loving 'mac' in general but my most worn colour is 'morange' I wore this colour everyday of the summer I love it this is an amplified finish so it's very creamy and pigmented it also stays on forever, literally ages! More here!

Another lipstick I've been loving in the year of 2013 is 'Estée Lauders pure colour creme lipstick' in ' crystal coral' this is like a really sheer lipstick almost like a tinted lip balm I've been wearing it too school its really natural and lovely on!!

For mascaras last year I loved 4 different ones that are all very similar;
Essence get big lash: this is brilliant for thickening eyelashes unfortunately it isn't available where I live. I got this in Ireland but you can also get it in the US and it's so cheap! Brilliant value for money!!!

Estēe Lauder: This is amazing it gives length and thickness however quite pricey but if you can get over that it's totally worth it!

Elizabeth Arden ceramide lash extending mascara: this is great for lengthening however the thickness isn't really there and again quite pricey but worth it!

Lancôme hypnose star: woah buddy! Hold your horses, this stuff is beautiful! Length, thickness and winged out look! It's bloody brilliant!!

Avon super shock: this is good for length but again thickness isn't quite there very similar to the Elizabeth Arden one however not as long lasting and a lot cheaper!

As for makeup brushes I love / loved anything real techniques! Do I even need to say why? Soft beautiful and easy to use!

For eye shadow I pretty much all year wore my naked 1 pallet until the end of the year when I used my mac pallet which I wrote about in my previous blog post! I love the naked 1, colours are beautiful! If you'd like a more thorough review like I did for my mac pallet let me know.

I don't wear much nail varnish but last year I fell in love with the L.A colours nail varnish, I don't have a favourite but the one in the picture is sea siren!

Finally!!!!!! I finished! It's done! I hope this is everything you hoped for, I know the wait was long but I've just been so busy!
Bye loves

Boots Haul

Hi lovelies,
so recently I went into boots and picked up a few bits not much it all came up to around just over £21.00 which I think is quite good for what I got!

The first thing I picked up which I've been umming and awhing about for the past few months is the 'Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107' I've wanted this forever and I finally was brave enough to get it and I have not used anything else on my lips since I got it (Apart from my Elizebeth Arden 8 hour cream of corse) I love this lipstick, it's just so long lasting! It does make your lips feel dry however the colour lasts for like 4 hours, Obviously it wouldn't be as long lasting if you're eating and drinking constantly but even then its very long lasting. I would say that this would be much better if you applied it with lip liner as it does feather a bit through out the day but still amazing this colour is just beautiful. It also tastes amazing which is a big bonus, this will definitely be my autumn/winter staple.

The next thing I bought was the 'Seventeen on the spot foundation' This foundation has salicylic acid in it and claims to clear skin in up to four week, now I can't really review this as of yet because I've not had it for four weeks yet! It says full coverage however I don't think it is, I'd say it more like medium coverage. The one problem is that the colour range isn't brilliant so if you have darker skin I don't think this foundation is for you unfortunately. I hate that about foundations when they don't have a full range of skin colours I think it is totally unfair:(
I will let you know more about this product as I use it more.

I then picked up a 'Rimmel Scandal eyes thick and thin liner in 001 black' I did struggle with this to begin with and I'm still struggling to be perfectly honest but I am starting to get the hang of it, I'm finding it hard to get a thin line with it but I guess that will come with practice. I like this product as it is extremely black and you can get quite a good flick with it.

Because I spent over £10 on Rimmel products I got a full sized free 'Rimmel scandal eyes flex mascara' I HATE this product and I'm sorry if you love Rimmel mascaras but I just feel it sticks my lashes together and its annoying however I do absolutely LOVE the brush I think it picks up my lashes perfectly!

The last thing I bought is very boring but its just sanex deodorant and it is THE BEST deodorant I've ever used. I bought two.

Okay lovelies thats it for today, I hope this was helpful or you liked it, let me know what products I should try next time I go shopping.
speak soon

Benefit and Mac make up haul

Hello lovelies,
now as promised I have a benefit haul for you today!
I actually brought these a couple of weeks back now which means naughty me started using them but forgot to take pictures of them brand new so I've tired to scrub them up as nice as i could.
Anyways, the other day, I can't really remember the date, I went to a benefit night called 'speed faking' like 'Speed Dating' thought that was very cleaver.

The first thing from benefit was the purple world famous neutrals pallet which includes 6 colours, 4 pressed powder shadows and 2 cream shadows.

This product was £23.50 so quite a lot but totally worth the price, I think the pigmentation is brilliant and it looks really great on my colour eyes 'browny/hazel' my favourite way to wear this is 'Holy smokes' the dark cream eye shadow blended up to the crease and then in the outer V of the eye blended out with  'Raincheck?' and blend that under the eye half way, then blend 'Blingo' from the tear duct to the first middle of the pupil.
Look Below

OR I like to wear the same look but with 'bikini-tini' as the base colour instead of 'Holy smokes'  this will give a softer look to the eyes.
(Look below)

I really think this pallet is amazing and I've really stepped out of my comfort zone with purples instead of my naked palette and I love it, so  thanks benefit for that one!

the next thing was the 'erase paste' yes I finally caved and brought it and guess what i love it! I got it in '02 medium' this was £19.00 and I love it however, I have one criticism, it has a slight highlight and its so waxy that it could sit on a blemish for the whole day but I don't really feel like highlighting my blemishes so please, benefit, if you're reading this (which I highly doubt) bring out an erase paste WITHOUT a slight highlight.

Worth the £19.00 because honestly you do not need huge amounts of this and I will be repurchasing at some point.

The other thing I purchase was the new 'Rockateur' blush, I fell in love with this before the woman even showed me it. It comes with a blush brush which is actually very good for a small brush but I find it hard to use as i have freakishly big sausage hands. This again like most of the benefit products is £23.50 I think.

It does slightly remind me of Macs 'soft and gentle' but with a more peachy tone to it. It is my new favourite blush and I wear it everyday its so subtle but the colour is buildible depending on how much colour you like.

A brilliant soft blush

The final thing I brought from benefit was their new 'Hydra smooth lip colour' in 'Juicy details' this is a lovely formulation and its very hydrating, although I must say it really doesn't last as long as other lipsticks I've tried which is fair enough as it doesn't claim long lasting wear so I didn't expect much on that front anyway.

Again you can build the colour of this up. I normally wear this to school with just one layer as it's nice and shear. This colour is a your lips but better colour (depending on how you layer it). I can't really remember the price, I think it was between £19.00-£23.50 but I'm not sure. I like to wear this with a smoky eye or with really natural school make up. I'm not as thrilled as I thought I would be but I'm still very happy with it.

So that concludes the benefit side of things, I've been a fan of benefit since I was about 11/12 and I'm an even bigger fan now. I've had many many benefit products and the girls at the counter have even started calling me a 'Benebabe' or something like that. I might as well live there.

I just wanted to add a quick mac part to this haul whilst I'm here.

The first thing I brought from was 'Morange' this is an amplified finish so the formulation is amazing! So moisturising and lasting. I apply this  at say 10.00 am and I don't have to reapply until 12.30 pm - 1.00pm even after drinking and eating. Now obviously it will rub off a bit whilst eating/drinking but still you are left with some colour. This I brought in Ireland so it was €19.00 so around the £15.00 mark. Totally worth the money and this was definitely my summer staple. My new favourite lipstick. (sorry benefit)

The next thing I brought was 'Mac studio fix fluid NW25' I was really debating as to if I should buy it or not because it was so expensive it was €37.50 which I think is about £30.00-£35.00 I did in the end because its just so brilliant it lasts on my face for longer than 2 hours which is a result on my skin. I put it on at 6:45 am and my spots only begin to show through at about 12.00pm. So all in all its great. A tad too dark for my skin, the lady who matched me was a little off with that but I still wear it I just mix it in with a tiny pump of a lighter drugstore foundation whatever you prefer. Love this product and it gives a heavy coverage.

Thats all for now guys

Make up haul

Hey guys,
I'm back with my first haul blog.
The other day I went in to town with my cousin Kelly and her two year old boy Harry!
I didn't go mad because I had a budget of about £30/£40
At first we went into super drug and they had a 3 for two on bourjois.

Bourjois bronzing primer
I believe this was about £9.99 and I'm a bit undecided on weather I like it or not, it depends what kind of day my skin is having and how much you apply, I find if my skin is a little dry it makes me look a little muddy but if my skin is nice and radiant I can wear this and it just completely smooths my skin and makes it all bronzed goddess like, and I'm far from goddess on my best days, so thats definitely saying something, I like to wear this under my foundation and powder. It smells AMAZING. If you don't like perfumed products it might not be for you, but it smells beautiful, like coconuts and summer and suncream and lovely things like that!

Touche healthy mix brush concealer

The next thing I brought was the Touche healthy mix concealer, I think it was around about £7.99. It's a brilliant drugstore version of YSL Touche eclat and it doesn't sink into your creases it smoothes them out also it gives a glowing look, I don't think its great for blemishes but for dark circles its great and my eyes haven't been as bright as when I use this product, another perfumed product. I can't really figure out what it smells like but agin like most Bourjois products it smells good.

Rouge edition lipstick 10 rouge buzz

Best lipstick I've ever owned. I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone of deep reds and go for a more orange colour so when I swatched this colour I loved it, it is an orangey red, like a very orangey coral, what I love bout the colour is in the dark it looks like a nice red but if you wear it on a bright day its very orange and I really love it! Its also feels like a balm, nice and moisturising and when its on it looks very glossy. smells like fruit and is just amazing.

Thats all make up wise, I did buy 6 lovely nail varnishes but that'll be separate,
thanks for reading
