Benefit and Mac make up haul

Hello lovelies,
now as promised I have a benefit haul for you today!
I actually brought these a couple of weeks back now which means naughty me started using them but forgot to take pictures of them brand new so I've tired to scrub them up as nice as i could.
Anyways, the other day, I can't really remember the date, I went to a benefit night called 'speed faking' like 'Speed Dating' thought that was very cleaver.

The first thing from benefit was the purple world famous neutrals pallet which includes 6 colours, 4 pressed powder shadows and 2 cream shadows.

This product was £23.50 so quite a lot but totally worth the price, I think the pigmentation is brilliant and it looks really great on my colour eyes 'browny/hazel' my favourite way to wear this is 'Holy smokes' the dark cream eye shadow blended up to the crease and then in the outer V of the eye blended out with  'Raincheck?' and blend that under the eye half way, then blend 'Blingo' from the tear duct to the first middle of the pupil.

OR I like to wear the same look but with 'bikini-tini' as the base colour instead of 'Holy smokes'  this will give a softer look to the eyes.
(Look below)

I really think this pallet is amazing and I've really stepped out of my comfort zone with purples instead of my naked palette and I love it, so  thanks benefit for that one!

the next thing was the 'erase paste' yes I finally caved and brought it and guess what i love it! I got it in '02 medium' this was £19.00 and I love it however, I have one criticism, it has a slight highlight and its so waxy that it could sit on a blemish for the whole day but I don't really feel like highlighting my blemishes so please, benefit, if you're reading this (which I highly doubt) bring out an erase paste WITHOUT a slight highlight.

Worth the £19.00 because honestly you do not need huge amounts of this and I will be repurchasing at some point.

The other thing I purchase was the new 'Rockateur' blush, I fell in love with this before the woman even showed me it. It comes with a blush brush which is actually very good for a small brush but I find it hard to use as i have freakishly big sausage hands. This again like most of the benefit products is £23.50 I think.

It does slightly remind me of Macs 'soft and gentle' but with a more peachy tone to it. It is my new favourite blush and I wear it everyday its so subtle but the colour is buildible depending on how much colour you like.

A brilliant soft blush

The final thing I brought from benefit was their new 'Hydra smooth lip colour' in 'Juicy details' this is a lovely formulation and its very hydrating, although I must say it really doesn't last as long as other lipsticks I've tried which is fair enough as it doesn't claim long lasting wear so I didn't expect much on that front anyway.

Again you can build the colour of this up. I normally wear this to school with just one layer as it's nice and shear. This colour is a your lips but better colour (depending on how you layer it). I can't really remember the price, I think it was between £19.00-£23.50 but I'm not sure. I like to wear this with a smoky eye or with really natural school make up. I'm not as thrilled as I thought I would be but I'm still very happy with it.

So that concludes the benefit side of things, I've been a fan of benefit since I was about 11/12 and I'm an even bigger fan now. I've had many many benefit products and the girls at the counter have even started calling me a 'Benebabe' or something like that. I might as well live there.

I just wanted to add a quick mac part to this haul whilst I'm here.

The first thing I brought from was 'Morange' this is an amplified finish so the formulation is amazing! So moisturising and lasting. I apply this  at say 10.00 am and I don't have to reapply until 12.30 pm - 1.00pm even after drinking and eating. Now obviously it will rub off a bit whilst eating/drinking but still you are left with some colour. This I brought in Ireland so it was €19.00 so around the £15.00 mark. Totally worth the money and this was definitely my summer staple. My new favourite lipstick. (sorry benefit)

The next thing I brought was 'Mac studio fix fluid NW25' I was really debating as to if I should buy it or not because it was so expensive it was €37.50 which I think is about £30.00-£35.00 I did in the end because its just so brilliant it lasts on my face for longer than 2 hours which is a result on my skin. I put it on at 6:45 am and my spots only begin to show through at about 12.00pm. So all in all its great. A tad too dark for my skin, the lady who matched me was a little off with that but I still wear it I just mix it in with a tiny pump of a lighter drugstore foundation whatever you prefer. Love this product and it gives a heavy coverage.

Thats all for now guys
kels :) xx
